Sedona Vacation

This was definitely the best vacation we have ever taken! Just our family, long enough to enjoy, and just easy going having fun! Definitely felt vacationed when we came home instead of tired and worn out!

First morning breakfast was at McDonald's since we were starving and didn't want to wait to go get groceries. We bought 2 of their breakfast meals with pancakes, eggs, biscuits, and sausage and split it between the four of us.
We had a full kitchen in our room so we got to make super. The first night Dad treated us to his Awesome Chile in soup bowls. MMMM!
We went to Out of Africa on the 2nd day and had a lot of fun! The boys got to pet lots of animals! Definitely better than a zoo! We got to see the animals up close and LOTS of the really scary ones!

The Skink

Big snake.....

After visiting this guy I actually think that our first pet may be a snake. No annoying hair. They stay in their cage until you take them out. They don't have bad breath or like you to death. AND you can leave them for two weeks with out feeding them! I'm not dying for one, but if I have to have a pet then this might be it.

We got to see lots of shows. Lions in the same cage as tigers. Humans in the same cage as untrained lions and tigers. Pet lots of animals and at the end of the day we went on a Safari where we got to feed a Giraffe and Camel! Oh did I mention we fed them out of out mouths! That's right I can now say I have kissed a Giraffe!
Not sure if I should be proud of this or not.... BUT.... I am!

Travin thought it was cool too!

So we had this HUGE tub in our room with jets. Rob being the super cool dad that he is poured a BUNCH of soap in and turned the jets on..... the result..... over a foot of bubbles. We finally turned the jets off when they started to bubble over the top. The boys LOVED it and played and played!

Changed into pajamas in the back of the van to ride the Polar Express.

Tim and Travin with Mrs. Claus. Hmm she's a little bit scarier than I expected her to look. Oh well. She was really nice!

The NORTH POLE !

Absolutely impossible to get a picture with all 3 boys looking! This was the best of about 20!

When I was in high-school I had a dream.... It was too visit EVERY Dairy Queen in the USA. Well I don't think I'm going to be able to make a specific DQ trek, but I have now decided that I will take a picture at every DQ I visit and maybe I can start to chip away at this HUGE goal I have set for myself! HA!

So this Dairy Queen is somewhere between Sedona and Flagstaff. HA!

Travin after playing in the snow!

In Sedona there was this cute Bethlehem Market place that was put on by a church. Don't ask me the name of the church because I have no idea. It was free and a fun little way to bring the true meaning of Christmas to our trip.

When we first walked up a lady gave us shackles. Then when we entered the market place we had to pay our taxes. We could buy little things with our shackles and when we did they would say Shalom. They did a great job and it was fun.

Travin and one of the scary Roman Soldiers! They did a great job being scary! Not a smile among them!

Tim in their little petting zoo.

We ended our trip by going to St. David for the Bryce Christmas Program/ Party! Which means family, yummy, food, lots of kids, and lots of fun!
It really was perfect. We came home to our nice clean home and lighted Christmas tree! Oh I think we are ready for Christmas!

A portion of our Fall 2009

Once again in no particular order. Mostly because I can't figure out what order blogger puts the pictures up when they are uploaded.
So far this has been my best year! We put our Christmas tree up before my birthday and I got to stare at it all day on that great day!
Travin played T-ball this year and I have to say I am the worst T-ball mom ever! Oh well, maybe I'll get the hang of it. I guess I better with these boys.

Turner

Playing around with my new camera! Fuzzy pictures and red-eyes. I can't figure it out. I need Cori to teach me some tricks for sure!

Zoo-lights!

It was really cold when we put up our Christmas lights this year so Turner got all bundled up in our only snow suit that is about 3 sizes too big.

T-ball again! Go Travin!

Pictures in a jumbled order!

So just thought I'd post a bunch of pics without journaling. Maybe this will get me going again. So a little bit of camping, Grandma Bryce's, and Home all shuffled up!

Before!

After!

At the drive-in movies!

Turner's blessing. He wore Uncle Tim's blessing outfit.

Added the raft to our camping trip this year. FUN!

1st cousins! Can you believe that 4 were not there?
Two more years and hopefully the moment we've all been waiting for will arrive! The whole family will get to be together in the mountains! Definitely been a long time waiting!

Grandma Bryce got this awesome water slide and the cousing spent hours and hours on it! Definitely well worth the CLEARANCE price!

And this is what happens after you've spent hours and hours on the water slide!

Travin got to drive his first go-cart by himself.

Introducing.....

Turner Lloyd Greenwood

May 18, 2009 2:06 PM Weighing in at 8 lbs 3 oz. With a height of 20.5 inches.

Dr. Moreno! I honestly don't think I could ever have a baby without her! From the beginning to the end she is amazing!

The delivery team!

Yes, Rob got to deliver this one too! He was much less nervous this time and did an awesome job! The baby even was coming out hand first.

Travin was sooo excited to see his new baby brother. Already he has been a lot of help. Travin made me feel really good the day I got home. I was sitting in the rocking chair and he came up to me and asked, "Why don't you have a fat belly anymore?"

Oh Travin thank you for thinking I'm not fat anymore. As we all know we still look prego after having a baby, but it felt good to have at least a 4 year old notice that I wasn't quite as LARGE.

The 3 boys!

Does this look like trouble or what?

Tim has actually surprised me. He has loved his little baby brother ever since he saw him. He was slightly jealous the very first day we were home and wanted me to hold him instead of the baby. The next morning he came in worried about the baby, where did he sleep, is he ok. He now loves to share ALL of his blankets with Turner.
Stay tuned for the L&D story....

The Best April Fools EVER!

Now that I've gotten caught up on the blog and am now just waiting for this baby to pop out I can tell you this funny funny thing! If I don't journal this it would be a sad thing.

Well if you read the blog about our trip to UT you know it started out HORRIBLE. After reading it I noticed that I left out a few more incidents that were just added to the list of what else could go wrong this trip. I know you are sick of reading my boring blog so I'll just leave them out.

Sooo.... on with the story.......

Several bad things had happened already. Rob was at home studying for some exams, but also feeling a little bit bad that he wasn't up in UT to help me out. He too was feeling a little bit of the what else could go wrong energy.

April fools rolled along. It was about 11:00 pm and Rob had called about an hour previously and Lindsey and I were at the grocery store, so he knew we were out and about. We had since returned home but he did not know that.

Paul (Rob's cousin) called Rob and told him that while we were at the grocery my water had broke and Lindsey and I were on our way to the hospital. We had Rob on speaker phone this whole time. I wish we would've recorded this conversation because it really was hilarious.

Rob's voice was a mix of shock and worry. Paul thought it was a great idea... you know having a baby sooner than expected and kind of played it off like, wow looks like you are going to be a dad again soon. Isn't this exciting!!!!

Rob's thoughts were.... Mitzi is not even close enough to her due date. Something is going to be wrong..... I'm not there..... I need to be there.... I have these really important exams I have to take and study for..... What do I do..... Do I fly up there..... Do I wait..... WHAT ELSE COULD GO WRONG!..... This is horrible and really stinks. Probably a million other things too.

Well soon there was a little bit of a pause because Paul ran out of lies he could think up. So he broke the silence with, Hey Rob you are on speaker phone and Lindsey and Mitzi are right here listening. APRIL FOOLS!

Rob was soooo relieved! He said, "I would be mad, but I'm just so glad it's not true I'm happy." Poor Rob he said that he had chest pains for hours after that. Sorry!

It seriously was the best April Fools joke I've EVER played. I don't know if I will ever be able to top it. It was mean, but it still makes me laugh!

Pima County Fair

We ventured out to the fair this year. We actually have gone every year since we've been married except last year because we were in Queen Creek. We usually go with our friends Ben and Macey who were our next door neighbors for 3 years. This year we met them there. It was fun catching up. Thanks guys for probably our last fair trip together it was a great one!
Tim and Travin on the pirates' bridge
down the BIG slide
Rob and Ben going on the most disgusting ride I've ever seen! When they got off people that were still on the ride at the top were throwing up. Luckily it landed just behind the boys.
Travin, Tim, and Kiley going for a ride!
The gang!
Us, Macey, Ben, and their 2 kiddos Kiley and Sterling.
We'll miss you guys! Good luck on your new adventure and soon making the big bucks! One more year to go! Congratulations Ben!

Birthday #2 for Tim Boy!

Tim finally got into Elmo at Sea World so I thought I would pull out the Elmo Cake pan.
Cake Presents

Tim still talks about his birthday almost everyday. "Elmo Cake", "Blow candles out", "Open presents." Yes he had a great birthday.
I can't believe how smart this little 2 year old is. He is definitely 2 though. He always keeps me on my toes. Never a dull moment with Tim around!
